Rapid Rewards Africa PTY LTD Terms & Conditions

Rapid Rewards Africa Terms & Conditions:

 

  1. A once off R850 joining fee is payable upon inception to our Rapid Rewards program and is valid for ONE full year. Once you have completed our online registration form, paid and are registered via e-mail confirmation, no refunds will apply.
  1. We gladly accept EFT payments or any Master Card, Visa Card, Amex Card or Diners Club Card via our registered Herminix PTY LTD payment gateway.
  1. Immediately upon joining you will receive a Rapid Rewards virtual card with your own membership number as well as a welcome e-mail / sms. Your membership number to be supplied at all times when requesting an on-line quote, booking or other rewards/service.
  1. Rapid Rewards offers are not transferable and only applies to the main member, his or her spouse, all children up to 21 years of age and the member’s in-laws.
    Exceptions are made to our Rapid Rewards group travel registrations whereby each person in the group will qualify. A special group costing will apply.
  1. Only reservations made with a Rapid Rewards agent and confirmed by a Rapid Rewards agent will qualify you for your applicable discount / reward. Any direct bookings with a establishment or a travel service provider will be subject to the full charge without any discount.
  1. We will only correspond with the qualifying beneficiaries of the main member or the main member. Ensuring the accuracy of all personal details and info of the guests/travelers/passengers or reward users.
  1. HERMINIX PTY LTD is our affiliated payment gateway and will future on all our in-house transaction correspondence. HERMINIX PTY LTD facilitates our online payments.
  1. Rapid Rewards Africa PTY LTD will have the right to terminate with immediate effect a registration should the client misuse his offers in any way.
    Rewards and offers are determined by Rapid Rewards Africa management and may be amended at any time. Each client and user of Rapid Rewards Africa is required to comply with the terms & conditions, requirements and rules of any/all service providers on our rewards program.
  1. Every effort is made to ensure accuracy of our website content. Rapid Rewards Africa PTY LTD cannot be held responsible for changes that may occur to our advertised rewards and offers, due to unforeseen circumstances. Copyright and all other rights are reserved by Rapid Rewards Africa PTY LTD.
  2. All rewards and offers are subject to our terms and conditions and of those of our advertised stay options and suppliers. Payment and cancellation terms vary by offer and supplier. Please review each offers T&C’s on our and their websites provided.
Accommodation Terms and Conditions

Decide to book! (RAPID REWARDS Accommodation Terms & Conditions)

1. Availability on any and all accommodation quotations cannot be guaranteed by Rapid Rewards Africa management and staff until booked and paid for (where pre-payment or a deposit is applicable).

2. All quotations are subject to availability and may change without notice. Rapid Rewards Africa cannot be held liable for this or any other changes that may occur.

3. Rates quoted are an indication of the estimate price at the listed venue and are either per room per night for 1 person or 2 adults sharing or per person per night on a ROOM ONLY basis. Depending on the venue booked. Meals are not included except if stated and to be paid for by the member, if required.

3. Some venues may charge a per person rate. This will be stated at the pricing section ateach accommodation stay option.

5. Rates quoted are during low season and are the current available rate for that venue. More or lesser adults, added children, meals and extras will affect all quoted rates. Please contact Rapid Rewards Africa for an updated and applicable rate for your stay. Venues may offer short notice specials. We will book you the cheaper stay option.

6. Peak holiday periods such as Easter, long weekends, school holiday, X-Mas and New Year will affect advertised rates. It is a general occurrence in the travel industry for rates to be much higher during these popular dates.

7. Cancellations of confirmed accommodation (business or holiday) bookings may incur a cancellation fee, determined by the venue booked. This fee may vary from 10% – 100% of the total accommodation cost. Please enquire upon booking or refer to your confirmation/booking document.

8. Single, double and family room bookings apply subject to being available at your chosen stay option.

9. Full or pre-payment on accommodation bookings apply. At certain venues, arrangements can be made by our office for members to settle in full on arrival.

10. Advertised rates to be used as a guide when planning your holiday or business trip. Rates may change without notice and cannot be guaranteed.

11. Bookings to be made with Rapid Rewards Africa direct to qualify. Member only enquiries/bookings. NO third party/non-members requests will be dealt with.

12. Participating venues & travel companies on our rewards program are privately, group or corporate-owned. The owners and/or management may change, amend or cancel their rates and rewards offers at any time without notice. 

12. All food, beverages and miscellaneous purchases at the participating accommodation venues, are for the Rapid Rewards member’s own account and must be paid for / settled on or before departure.

Bus Terms and Conditions

Decide to book! (RAPID REWARDS Bus Travel Terms & Conditions)

 

  1. Rapid Rewards Africa will require the full discounted bus ticket quoted cost upon booking. This payment to me made into Rapid Rewards bank account 3 full working days prior to travel. Payment/booking conditions apply and members will be advised upon request of this service.
  2. NO SERVICE FEE IS CHARGED BY RAPID REWARDS AFRICA ON BUS
    RESERVATIONS.
  3. The passengers traveling have to be the main member and/or qualifying club beneficiaries and will be required to produce their ID documents and bus boarding pass on departure at the relevant bus station.
  4. All passengers are required to be at the relevant departure points
    30 – 60 minutes before departure.
  5. Standard luggage allowances apply with each bus company. Our office will provide you with details upon confirmation of your bus reservation. Details also viewable on the bus company websites.
  6. Tickets are not transferable and cannot be utilized by any other person except the booked passenger/member/qualifying club beneficiary.
  7. Once your bus ticket is booked & paid, no refunds apply. A new travel date must be re-booked and any costing difference to be paid in full by the passenger/s. Should any changes apply on your bus reservation to contact our office direct at 010 6344930 from Mon – Fri 09:00-16:00.
  8. A service fee may be charged for required changes or re-bookings.
  9. PLEASE NOTE: Both bu companies on our Rewards programme have their own T’s & C’s. For further detail, please visit their websites direct.
  10. No discounted seats can be booked on Intercape SAVER bus ticket fares.
  11. Enjoy a 10% discount all year on all routes on Intercape’s FULL FLEXI & FLEXI bus ticket fares.

Car Rental T&C's and Exclusions

Decide to book! (RAPID REWARDS Car Rental Terms & Conditions)

  1. Bookings need to be made at least 2 days before you wish to collect your car.
  2. You will be charged the daily rate multiplied by the amount of rental days, a R150 contract fee, refundable fuel deposit and any applicable extras requested when booking.
  3. You have to supply our Rapid Rewards agent with your credit card details for the rental.
  4. Business and leisure rentals accepted.
  5. A minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 14 days rental bookings apply.
  6. Only the RAPID REWARDS principal member and spouses/partner qualify for this car rental rewards benefit and are allowed to be the driver/additional driver.
  7. The main driver/client must be over the age of 23 years to rent a vehicle. You will also require a valid credit card or cheque card with raised numbers with funds and a driver’s licence, valid for at least 3 years.
  8. Only the driver booked by RAPID REWARDS can collect the vehicle.
  9. All car rental companies/providers have their own Terms & Conditions. Please view the relevant rental company’s website once booked with Rapid Rewards Africa.
  10. Rapid Rewards Africa is affiliated with one of the largest local car rental brokers EFS SOLUTIONS. Making it possible for us to offer you access to some of the best car rental deals and rental suppliers in South Africa.

YOUR DAILY RATE INCLUDES..

  1. 250km FREE daily from 1-4 days rentals
  2. Unlimited mileage for 5+ days rentals
  3. NO excess will be put on hold on your card. Client will however sign liability for the applicable excess amount and will be responsible to pay this should the vehicle be in an accident are damaged or stolen.
  4. Super collision damage waiver (SCDW)
  5. Super theft loss waiver (STLW)
  6. VAT @ 15%
  7. Airport surcharge, if applicable on airport collected vehicles only
  8. One additional driver
  9. FREE vehicle delivery and collection from/to client within a 20km radius of car supplier branch
  10. Inclusions and exclusions subject to change without prior notice

EXCLUDED from your daily rate (payable by renter)..

  1. A R50.00 Rapid Rewards service fee
  2. Contract fee of R150
  3. Refundable rental/fuel deposit (R2000 – R2800) PLUS your total amount of rental days and contract fee of R150 are payable by you upon renting your vehicle. The applicable rental deposit (only) remains refundable to you provided that you return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel and no additional charges such as toll fees and fines are applicable to your rental.
  4. Fuel used
  5. Windscreen and tyre damage (actual replacement cost)
  6. Windscreen and tyre damage cover (to a max of R4500) hubcaps & rims not included = R150 per day.
  7. Water & undercarriage damage (actual damage amount)
  8. Delivery and collection fee (outside the 20km free radius) – will be quoted
  9. Additional equipment (PGS, baby seat etc.)
  10. One way fee – will be quoted (if applicable)
  11. Overdue rental fee = R850 per incident)
  12. Cancellation fee (not cancelled within 24 hours prior to rental collection)
  13. No show fee / young driver surcharge / traffic fines and traffic fine admin fee. Will be quoted and charged when applicable.
  14. Refuelling fee = R35 – R55.
  15. Fuel = actual amount
  16. Tourism levy = 1% of total rental invoice amount

Additional charges are subject to change without prior notice and depends on the car rental supplier used. When you collect your rental car.. Remember to have your:

  1. ID document
  2. Valid driver’s licence
  3. Rental confirmation/reservation number (Provided by Rapid Rewards Africa)
  4. Valid credit or cheque card used for this booking with adequate funds available to pay for your rental, extra charges and refundable rental/fuel deposit (cash not accepted). NO vehicle will be released if the required funds are not available.

 

R2000-R2800 REFUNDABLE RENTAL DEPOSIT HOLD REQUEST (How does it work?)
This is an instruction from the relevant car rental company to your bank to place a temporary hold for the refundable authorisation amount. This is not a deduction and the rental company does not earn any interest on the funds. Should there be no outstanding charges, an instruction is given to your bank to lift the temporary hold once you return the rental vehicle. Dependant on the renter’s bank, this can take up to 14 business days. You will note a difference between your current and available account balance until the hold is lifted.

Air Fares Terms and Conditions

(RAPID REWARDS FlySafair flight Terms & Conditions)

  1. Only full paying individual Rapid Rewards members GET R100 IMMEDIATE CASHBACK PER TICKET ON THEIR FIRST 3 FLIGHT TICKETS on FlySafair, when booking with our office. A total cashback of R300 is available during your membership period.
  2. Our FlySafair flights will be offered as a booking service to members belonging to a company / group at the best available advertised price. Group members but WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR THE R300 CASHBACK OFFER ON FLIGHTS.
  3. A maximum R100 cashback per single or return flight ticket booking applies on FlySafair flights only. If a flight booking is cancelled the cashback on the cancelled ticket will be forfeited. 
  4. The cashback can be utilised by any qualifying beneficiary of the full paying main Rapid Rewards members.
  5. Book with our office direct to qualify for your flight cashbacks.
  6. We have continuous access to the cheapest available advertised fares on FlySafair and can gladly assist you with our full member flight booking service.
  7. Changes made to any flight booking will incur additional costs and service charges as per FlySafair terms and conditions. Please refer to www.flysafair.co.za for their domestic and international flight ticket bookings, boarding rules, added fees & charges and other important Terms & Conditions.
  8. FlySafair offers 3 flight booking options of which is LIGHT, STANDARD & BUSINESS. Priced differently. Luggage allowance differ and extra included such as snack vouchers to more expensive flight ticket options.
  9. Each passenger must produce a valid form of ID like an ID Book or card, South African Driver’s Licence or Passport on check-in. Children must have a Birth Certificate or a certified copy of a Birth Certificate no older than 3 months. For domestic travel, it does not need to be an Unabridged Birth Certificate.
  10. All our fares include a free carry-on bag. Hand luggage maximum size dimensions should not exceed 56cm X 36cm X 23cm and may not weigh more than 7kg. Over-sized carry-on bags will attract a fine at the boarding gate.
  11. Cashbacks not used within your annual membership period will be forfeited. No refunds apply on unused cashbacks.

FlySafair Fares Comparison

The Lite Fare is the cheapest fare that we offer, it affords you a seat on the aircraft and 7kgs of carry-on luggage. With this fare, you can customise your fare and build your own travel experience by adding on various other services, each at a small fee. It is perfect for business travellers.

The Standard Fare comes complete with 20kgs of checked-in luggage, priority boarding and two fee-free changes. All other extras can still be added to this fare to customise it further.

Lastly, the Business Fare includes two checked bags of up to 23kg, and any other special equipment like musical instruments or sporting goods, unlimited fee-free flight changes, priority boarding, a pre-reserved seat and the ticket is fully refundable to a FlySafair wallet.

FlySafair, like other airlines around the world, uses a system called “demand-based pricing”. 

What this means is that the first seats on a flight, sell at the very lowest price, usually at a loss to the airline. As the seats start to sell out, they become incrementally more expensive.

What you’ll find is that prices rise quickly on popular flights, like those around holiday times. Flights also tend to get pricier the closer it is to their departure time, because usually they’ll be closer to sold out at that time.
